As you all know, my blog title is Run. If you guys paid attention (of course not, I'm insignificant), then you'll know that this blogs name is chosen without any philosophy in it.
So, because I absolutely love how my blog is now and have no intention of changing it in a very long time, I have decided that its time to be serious about the meaning of its name.
Background Mascot of The Horse
In my previous Run post, I only explained the reason for the mascot(?) As you know its because of the love I have for horses since I was a little girl. You could actually read my previous posts on it in A Kids Dream and Horse Talking.
I actually got the chance to chase my childhood dream in Uni, there is an equestrian club and I was so happy to join and learn the basics to groom and ride horses. Of course, I didn't get the chance to fulfill my dream to actually learn trotting and all those stuff, even to make it to riding competitions because of the situation, energy and time that I have to invest for it, I had other passions that I'd like to chase.
Its sad and I do have regrets on it. I threw away my inner child for my ego and that's a chance you'll never get again, at least for this case.
Anyway, I believe that I will get the chance to learn riding again, though I have to sacrifice a lot of money. Yes, its one of the most expensive sports and I threw away free riding lessons in my uni:)
Ah, here comes the feeling of regrets again.
Explanation of The Horse
Horses are one of nature's graceful creatures that has been around for million of years. There are many stories and myths that revolves around horses. They have been around not only to be at use for humans but also to teach humans.
Many cultures has seen horses as sacred animals, but others see horses as a symbol of war and power. What ever culture that you look into,
Explanation of 'Run'
Enough of the background story, so other than that, I have done some thinking on how I would like you guys to perceive my blog title. So, lets list them shall we?
: to go faster than a walk specifically : to go steadily by springing steps so that both feet leave the ground for an instant in each step.
I've made a metaphoric meaning from the dictionary, it means to make choices without doubts, to come closer to that you want to achieve in life and to always move forward in every situation as possible.
Moving forward, pushing yourself to get closer to the prize that you always wanted, to not give up on yourself. That is run.
We don't realize it but we are always on the run, we were always running towards death whether we realize it or not. Each step is unique, whether its a step on mud, on thorns, or on solid platforms. Life is about where you choose to set your foot and where you'll end up meeting death, the depths of the ocean or the mountain top?
Running is also to get closer to God, what ever circumstances, what ever sins, what ever faults you have, always remember to run back to your Lord. He is the Most Merciful.
Explanation of The Color Yellow
If you like hidden messages, metaphors, and deep meanings like me. You'll definitely love this one.
- The yellow heart emoji is a symbol of loyalty
Although its not a heart symbol but the color yellow makes the heart have the meaning of loyalty, and I am not afraid to say that I am a very loyal person to those I love, maybe too loyal.
I have had this blog for almost 10 years and I intend to keep in for the rest of my life, I have no intention to delete or move or abandon this blog. The other reason for it is that it is my life journey developing as a human from many perspectives, art or non art
- The psychology of yellow
As you can read, yellow actually defines on what I want my blog to be. I want it to give warmth and inspiration. I want it to be a medium to communicate and enlighten others in what ever I post.
- What yellow symbolizes
So, there you have the serious reasons on why I chose on the theme of my blog. To be practically honest with you, I have just done my research on this quite recently and actually don't have any of these intention LOL. But, I was so surprised, it means that I subconsciously knew what I wanted my blog to be and in what direction I'll take it.
I don't really expect much from posting things on my blog. I do care if people read or not, and I don't really hope for this blog to blow up or something. Moreover the era of blogging has actually come to an end, people do vlogging on YouTube or something like that.
What I really want is for this blog to be the source of my contentment and optimism. I want it to be a vessel for my thoughts, creativity, and feelings. So, I hope you'll see where I'm coming from and you'll get to feel each of my emotions in each of its words and sentences that I have posted in the blog.
Thank you so much for sticking by for all these years. Cheers!
