Everglow

Helloo guuyssss
Been a long time since I posted. So, I'll be talking about Coldplay's single in "A Head Full of Dreams."

Ever since the album "A Head Full of Dreams" had been released, as soon as possible I downloaded all the songs in there. I love Coldplay, but I'm not a fanatic fan, I love their music, cause it can give you a feeling like your flying, plus the words in each song are wonderful, I love how they describe things in beautiful lyrics.

The song that I love the most is Everglow. You can search the lyrics on Google.

Like Yellow, Everglow has deep meanings, and it took quite some time until I realize that this song touched my heart.

Lets get to the point.
The more I grow up, the more things that I go threw, more people I meet, and the feeling of being complete with wonderful friends and family are starting to fade away. I realized that my days are getting bluer and bluer, I have no motivation, I whine, I cry, and I hardly ever be grateful. Its a total opposite of the old me being positive in everything that happened to me.

When I tried to understand Everglow, it just hit me. The world is much more than my problems, sure, we will face bigger things that'll be more stressful but the key is what can we learn from all that.

Everglow taught me that life is to short to worry about the bad things,

Like when people come and go, its not a bad thing, sure, some people leave scars, some leave tears and some leave a smile. Coldplay says that, that is a diamond that was special. People come and go to teach us how to handle people, how to deal with our life and how to accept life. The thing is, people are there to give precious experiences.

Coldplay also wanted some moments to stay just as they are. I believe that each of us had this thought, "What if.... I wish.... I miss those moments.... I want to go back...." Moving on from the past is hard, and staying in precious moments are the best, but life goes on. The road a ahead must have something more dear for us, more friends that'll be there, and us to be useful for others.

In another verse, Coldplay says that things, situation, and people change. Life is too short, and we might not know when they will leave, when will there be a situation that makes things harder, even with swearing, we cannot ensure that what you swear will happen, you can only try to get there and hold on to what you have now, to be grateful and not to waste it around.

Now this is what I think is the main part. In their chorus, Coldplay describes about times that are hard, that are blue, and the feeling of everglow that makes them strong, gives a light, a way, and everglow that'll be with you wherever you go. What I interpreted myself or at least this is what I feel, everglow is not left by someone, it is the feeling of loving God, and believing God wants the best from you. I swear, I have felt that feeling and every time I think about it, it makes me wanna cry. (But because of somethings that are personal and complicated, I have changed). Having this feeling will effect everything, the way you judge at something, someone and situation, the way to be grateful, and to cherish the people and things you have.

So, everglow is there to make your eyes open, what ever happens to you, it is there for a reason and they are beautiful, it just depends on how you look at it.

I'm learning once more to cherish that feeling and to look at my problems from a beautiful perspective.

Wassalam.
